Pawai Ogoh-Ogoh Dresta Lango Bualu 2026

In anticipation of the sacred Nyepi Day (the Balinese Day of Silence), the Bualu Traditional Village proudly presents "Pawai Ogoh-Ogoh Dresta Lango Bualu Saka Year 1948." This grand showcase is envisioned as a tangible manifestation of our commitment to nurturing and preserving the noble values that define the Balinese identity, particularly within the Bualu Traditional Village community.

 

The transition into the Saka New Year serves as a profound moment for mulat sarira (self-reflection) and inner alignment. Through Dresta Lango Bualu, we strive to reignite the spirit of menyama braya (brotherhood) and gotong royong (mutual cooperation). We warmly invite both the local community and international travelers to immerse themselves in the majesty of authentic Balinese traditions through the exhibition of ogoh-ogoh (giant effigies) and dance-drama performances (fragmentari) from every banjar (traditional hamlet) across Bualu.

 

More than just an art performance, this event is an expression of our bhakti (devotion) to our ancestors and a gesture of gratitude toward the universe. By harmonizing cultural aesthetics with environmental consciousness, we hope this event leaves an inspiring mark on all who attend.
